The reasons for eating what we eat and how we eat it became of interest to me as I worked my way through various kitchens. I could see that not many people were getting any goodness out their choices and all that really mattered is obtaining that feeling of fullness and satisfaction. A whole industry has sprung up over the years just to satisfy those desires regardless of whether they are doing us harm .
After my training as a culinary nutritionist i now like to take a more holistic approach towards food. An important step in the right direction , is to free ourselves from the horrific amount of additives and chemicals being pumped into our food and water supply. A whole new movement of healthy cooks that are taking things back to basics and concentrating on what our bodies need instead of what our minds tempt us into consuming is getting stronger by the day. Blending this new wave with my classical training i offer a contemporary style of cooking full of flavour and natural goodness.
